Track Name: Blue-eyed Boy
From feline to canine
For Abel, go to Cain
From canine to feline
And then crawling back again

There are always two sides
One to rise and one to fall
Or three, or four, or five
Until there are no sides at all

Blue-eyed boy is everyman
Blue-eyed boy is chameleon
Everyone loves blue-eyed boy
Blue-eyed boy is close at hand

Blue-eyed boy is everyman
Blue-eyed boy is circumstance
Everyone loves blue-eyed boy
Blue-eyed boy is hollow man
Who does the best he can

So much to remember
Too much to wash away
The touch of an ember
Shot down again flames

There’s got to be another way of slowing down time
Than flying backwards around the world
Hang on and keep the wolves at bay, help is on its way

Track Name: Rosy, technology
Well I heard that you were spoken for
It’s hard to imagine anyone speaking for you
When I heard who it was, thought I must’ve been wrong
The last I heard he was going down for breaching parole

Na na na na na, I couldn’t tell you why I had to leave
Na na na na na, who did you believe?

Well I hope it’s a myth and I hope it’s a lie
And I hope your sentence doesn’t cover all of his crimes
But if it’s true, who am I to cast the first stone?
When you’re gone so long it’s hard to call it home

Na na na na na, if I could tell you why I had to leave
Na na na na na, would you believe?
Na na na na na, I have to tell you why I had to leave
Na na na na na, I still believe

Rosy, technology, it’s leaving us behind
I even curse the day the day I learned to tell the time
Rosy, zeroes and ones will always stand alone
I wanna wipe my memory of everything I’ve known
Rosy, technology, it’s leaving us behind
I even curse the day the day I learned to tell the time
Rosy, technology will be the death of me
Give me the heart and soul I need to set me free
Rosy, technology, it’s leaving us behind
I even curse the day the day I learned to tell the time
Rosy, technology, let’s leave it all behind
With just the sky we can relearn to tell the time

Track Name: Death Rattle
When you find another guide
To fight all your battles
And hush your death rattles
Through the cold night

Hand over the keys you hide
To forgotten doorways
Reward her with glories
So far unseen
Afford her new stories
With no history

Lying in silence, upon dirty sheets
Staring at the ceiling, waiting for release
Sensing a presence, I know I’m not alone
There’s no room to make peace, sleeping with a ghost

When you….

I gave you my haven, I’d have given you my blood
But all that I gave you was never enough
Our reflections are fading, our hearts somewhere else
The only shadows we cast now are of our former selves

When you……

Track Name: The North Sea
When the rising spring tide came and scattered all the pieces
Of the lily-white horses up and down across the beaches
When the cold arctic wind came and scattered all the splinters
Of the lily-white horses in the middle of winter
Remember me to the North Sea

An envelope full of polaroids, of strangers from another lifetime gone
Reminiscences to fill a void, that only opened up another black hole
Long since your pretty friends have turned their pretty heads, one by one
Made hay while the sun shone, butterflies when the rain came falling

In a nameless town through the cold white noise
For one sweet second I thought I had a choice

When the rising….

Never thought you’d forget the smile of the only one you wanted to recall
Wondering if it’s reciprocal is the hollowest of consolations
Found a place in a family, neither blood nor forever broken
One mistake is all it takes to find yourself on the road again

When the rising….

So many hollow promises, so close, but always so far
Who’s ever going to sing your song, now you’re tired of your own voice?
